The PA Historical and Museum Commission plans to erect a sparkling new expression of contemporary architecture for a city which is eager to have some!  Choosing the emerging North Sixth Street corridor for it's location, in proximity to the planned new Federal Court House this initiative will have a huge impact on the redeveloping Midtown area.  Construction of the new facility will begin in early 2018.  The three to four story building should take about two years to complete.  Our fellow Rotarian, Heather Hu, brought this to your program Czar thinking it would be a great program for us as our city energizes. It should be an interesting presentation which will impact our thinking and enthusiasm for our area!

ROTARY'S ANNUAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION! (Mon. 18 Dec, 2017 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm)

Moving on from last year's wild and wonderful Santa appearance!  This year's program will be presented by 20 members of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church choir.  This renowned ensemble will bring us traditional choral works and will also lead us in a fun "sing-a-long" segment which we always enjoy together at holiday time.  Brett A.Terry, a graduate of Yale's Institute of Sacred Music and Pine Street's choirmaster, will lead the group.  He is widely respected for his excellence in leading professional organizations in Central PA and New York City.  Let's greet our guests with cheer and joy as they lend their time to enrich our holiday fest!
